Be ready. Luke 12

Hi there! Happy Saturday!

If you are reading Luke with me this month, today our reading is Luke 12.

Here is what stood out to me in today’s reading:

Scripture: Luke 12: 35

Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning.

Observation:

Don’t let up on your study or seeking of the Lord. Keep pursuing Him always.

Application:

This one is pretty straightforward to me: Don’t rest on any studying or reading laurels. Keep serving. Keep growing closer. Be ready. We have no idea what tomorrow (or the next five minutes) will bring.

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for wanting me to grow closer and closer to you. Thank you for allowing me serve you. Please, Lord, guide me in continuing to study and serve and be ready for your call, whatever that may be and whenever it may come.

Please, Lord, continue to guide me in helping others to grow closer to you. Helping others read the Bible has been so much fun… and so meaningful, too. Show me to how to continue to serve in that way in just the way you intend.
