Scripture:
Look to the Lord and his strength;
Seek his face always
–Psalm 105:4
Observation:
There is a lot of power in God.
Reach out for it.
Application:
This morning I am feeling weary. I am eager and see great things, but I am also weary and see all sorts of work ahead of me, so much that it is a tad paralyzing. But I can’t be paralyzed. I don’t have time for that– and I’m not supposed to be, either.
I need to look to Him to order my time and tasks. I need to seek His guidance and strength in doing what needs to be done and in loving those around me.
He has more power than I ever will have– and it’s here for me for the asking and sharing.
Prayer:
Father God, I am feeling that swirl of to dos and want to dos.
There is so much mounting.
I feel like I mostly know how to put it in order and plow through, but you definitely know how to put it in order and get it done.
I am weary and want to act in love, and act according to your plan. To do so, Lord, I need your help, I need your strength.
Guide me. Show me. Set my path straight both in tasks and in love.
Thank you for offering your strength to me.
I love you.
