Acts 15
Scripture:
And after Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and debate with them, Paul and Barnabas and some of the others were appointed to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and the elders about this question. – Acts 15:2
Observation:
The leaders in faith had questions. What they were discussing here was a BIG DEAL, and they were puzzled. God led them through dissent and debate so true resolution could be reached.
Maybe God is sharing with me that it’s okay, and even good, to wrestle with things. Progress isn’t simple. But when you put things to the test, you’ll find truth.
Don’t fear dissent. Embrace the progress it can bring instead of focusing on the frustration.
Prayer:
Father God,
Help me to view dissent as an opportunity for progress instead of just another frustration.
Please guide me through this growth. I could sure use this change in perspective!
Thank you, Lord.
