Scripture: Proverbs 1:2
The purpose of these proverbs is to teach people wisdom and discipline, and to help them understand wise sayings.
Observation: The Lord gives us his Word so that we can grow in wisdom, and learn more about him and the life he has set out for us.
Application: The Word is here for all of us. Keep reading it and expanding your understanding. He has provided this gift for us to put to use.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for the instruction and information you so willingly share with us.
My prayer this morning is for all those who want to grow in you but feel lost and confused and don’t know how to get closer.
Remind them again of the gift of your Word. And inspire them to open it up and read it on their own. Whether it be bit by bit or chunk by chunk or in an organized reading plan or not, just call out to them again to read your Word and see your beauty and gain understanding and a deeper thirst for you. Thank you, Lord for continuing to call me.
