Let’s spend some time in Proverbs together!
This month I will be reading one chapter of Proverbs each day and I’d love for you to join me in the reading. The Bible holds so much wisdom… and a lot of it is concentrated right in this book. With 31 days in March and 31 chapters, it’s a perfect reading plan. Plus, if we read at this pace of one chapter a day, we’ll have time to soak in each and every word, pondering over the words of instruction and thinking of ways we can apply what we learn to our own lives.
Want to go deeper? SOAP it up!
As you read, you may want to dive deeper than just a quick read-over. If so, I have found the SOAP method to be a great way for me to listen and connect with what I believe the Holy Spirit to be telling me.
You can read more about SOAP in my What is SOAP? post, but here’s a quick overview:
S- Scripture
What specific part of the scripture is meant for you that day? What is popping out at you? Write it down
O-Observation:
What does that line of scripture say to you? Write that down in your own words.
A-Application
How can you apply what is being shared in the scripture? Write that down, too.
P-Pray
How can you pray about what you are learning or applying? Write that down.
Why SOAP?
I have found that by using the SOAP method I can hear God speaking to me more clearly. I pray the same for you and, of course, hope you will join me in reading one (chapter of) Proverb(s) a day through all of March and also SOAP’ing as you read.. or finding another method to soak in the Word and really listed to the Holy Spirit.

Here’s the reading schedule. Please feel free to download and check off the Proverb chapter you read each day.
So are you in for Proverbs? And what for?
Please leave me a note in the comments to let me know if you are in— and also if you plan to SOAP, to journal or something else as you read.
Thanks for joining me!
In Love,
