Next week I promise we’ll be back to the weekly Real (Experienced) Moms feature. I have some more great stories and insight to share.
But for this week, like last, I have a few more of the Bible in 90 Days Mentors to introduce. These women, like the ones I introduced here, here and here, answered the call to help others read the entire Bible, cover to cover. They will be praying for you individually, contacting you to help hold you accountable in your reading, and encouraging you every step of the way. I have already been amazed by their patience and willingness to help.
So, without further adieu, please meet more of our Bible in 90 Days Mentors:
MacKenzie
Hi! I’m MacKenzie (aka Mama Kenz or Chic Mama) from Mama Kenz Studio (I have a few other blogs too but you can find all my links and main stuff right there!). I am so happy to be able to act as a mentor for the Bible in 90 Days Challenge this time around! I must admit, I feel a bit like a summer camp counselor and it just gets me all giddy! It is my honor and pleasure to come along side many of you ladies and offer you support and encouragement for the immensely rewarding challenge that you are embarking on!
I found out about the last challenge about two weeks before the start of the New Year and felt strongly compelled to participate. I had read all but a few chapters in Ezekiel up to that point and was determined to actually make it through the whole Bible, cover to cover this time around, and to my shock- I DID! AND on time (with a 3 1/2 year old and a 6 month old, mind you)!
The Lord spoke to me in so many ways during that three months, but mostly He showed me what a love story He has woven through history to bring His people to Him. It was so refreshing to read through the scriptures at such a fast pace and get the whole, overall picture as I never had before. I was able to make connections I had never noticed and retained so much more than I thought possible.

Ivy
I am a 31 year old single gal who loves spending time with my two dogs, Molly and Shelton. I enjoy photography, scrapbooking, reading, working out, and decorating my new home. I work in healthcare. Most importantly, I am a Christian who knows she is a daughter of the KING and enjoys spending time at his feet. Reading through the Bible has helped me to spend time in his word and to grow my walk as a Christian. I am blessed to have completed this task and look forward to doing this a third time!
Ivy blogs at Creative Blessings.
Connie
Connie is a Christian homeschooling mom of 8 rowdy kids, wife of 1 hunky golf pro, wiper of noses, writer of stories. She blogs regularly at Smockity Frocks.

Carina
I’m Carina and I have the privilege of being a stay-at-home wife to a wonderful husband and mom to 4 amazing children (ages 12, 10, 8, and 2) as well as step-mom to a 7 year-old! I used to teach English literature, but am now about to begin homeschooling. In the free time I have (which isn’t always much!), I love to read, bake, and cross-stitch.
Participating (and completing!) the Bible in 90 Days Challenge earlier this year was one of the most impacting events in my personal relationship with Jesus! Reading through the Bible at such a quick pace really caused me to see “the big picture” of God’s plan for redemption and how truly interrelated the Old and New Testaments are. (In the past, I would read the Bible over a year–or longer–and by the time I was in Titus, the events of Judges were a bit hazy!) Seeing how purposefully God fit the events of long ago together because He wanted ME to be with Him for eternity is amazing!!!
I am so excited for those of you who are participating in reading the Bible in 90 days and praying that God meets you in a powerful way over the next three months!
Stacy
Hi everyone. My name is Stacy and I’m newly 50 years old (just turned 50 on Tuesday!) mom of 4 ages 3 through 26. My hubby and I have been married 28 years. He does not believe as I do, so it has made for some interesting times. I also work full time as a preschool teacher. I had tried several times over the years to read through the Bible in a year but never could seem to finish. I found Amy’s site just before New Years and made the commitment to myself that I would finish it this time. I can tell you honestly that it would not have happened without the support of others who were doing it as well. The accountability helped me through the rough times. And there will be times when you feel like quitting! I am so glad I didn’t though. It gave me a very different historical view of the Bible from start to finish and I truly believe it has brought me into a closer relationship with God.
I blog kind of sporadically over at http://OurSafeHaven.wordpress.com .
