When I’m not reading through the Bible in 90 Days, I use this reading plan to keep me in the Word daily.

Today’s Reading: Malachi 3-4, Psalm 148, Acts 5
Here’s what I heard today using SOAP:
Scripture: Acts 5:39
But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”
Observation:
When God is in control, the mission cannot be stopped.
Application:
When I am working for God, truly, completely and purely working for God, the mission will take off. No, it may not take the path I expect and no , that doesn’t mean there won’t be any detours, but it does meant that when I commit my efforts to Him and work for the Lord, the mission will succeed. He is in control.
Prayer:
Lord, you are amazing and awesome and powerful beyond my comprehension. And I love serving you. Thank you for that honor and that privilege.
When I hit bumps and detours along the way, please guide me in re-thinking my actions and determining if my end goal is just to serve you. Because when it is, you make the project fly.
You cannot and will not be stopped, no matter the roadblocks I may see. Guide me in focusing on you. And thank you for the joy I have experienced as you have allowed me to serve you.
Please guide me as I continue, and please guide more and more to experience that joy.
