Many of the Bible in 90 Days/ Blogging Through the Bible in 90 Days participants host their own blogs and/or are avid users of Twitter. But many of our readers and graduates do not blog and never use Twitter.
The only requirements for participating in the Bible in 90 Days program with MomsToolbox are that you
- do the reading yourself
and that you
- check in each Monday by leaving a comment in the appropriate spot for your group.
You do not have to blog or participate in the discussions on Twitter. These are just tools you may choose to enhance your experience, but they are in no way required.
If you do have a blog and decide to share this challenge with your readers, you will have the opportunity to link up each Monday, beginning January 3, on MomsToolbox, as well, provided you also have a link in your post back to MomsToolbox.com.
Many bloggers find that writing about the challenge helps to hold them accountable. Many find that it takes too much time, though, and eats into their reading time. Blogging about this challenge is a personal decision.
Using Twitter can also be an incredibly effective tool or it can also be a hindrance. Our discussions every Monday night from 8-9 CST (using the #B90Days hashtag) can be a huge confidence builder and a great way to gain a better understanding of the reading and our community. These virtual meetings take the place of the weekly meetings that the typical Bible in 90 Days groups (or any other group Bible study) host and offer a chance for great discussion. Many readers also tweet throughout the week as they finish each day’s reading or just to encourage other readers. Twitter participation, like blogging, is optional. It’s there to help you if you can manage it effectively.
