Bible in 90 Days- join in July 2010

Reading and Blogging thru the Bible in 90 Days with so many of you this year has been an awe-inspiring experience. It has been amazing to see God moving in so many lives.

And so how can I not host another Blogging Thru the Bible in 90 Days experience?

Our next group will begin Monday, July 5, and continue through Saturday, October 2, 2010.

I will go into more details as we get closer, but here’s a quick over view to get you thinking:

To give you a heads-up, if this is your first time, I strongly suggest you use a copy of the official Bible in 90 Days Bible. It is an NIV thinline  with minimal footnotes and has start and end markers for each day. With that Bible you will be reading 12 pages a day, Genesis to Revelation. If you do not use that Bible, you can download a schedule to use with your own.

As the start date gets closer, I will post a list of participants on MomsToolbox.com. And I will ask you to share the program on your own sites, on Twitter, and on Facebook, pointing readers back here to join us.

As a group we will meet on Twitter using #B90Days each Monday night from 8-9 CST July 5, through October 4, to discuss the reading, compare notes and cheer and pray for each other.

I’ll also post weekly check-ins on MomsToolbox each Monday where I will ask you to log in with either a link to a post on your own blog or a comment as to where you are in the reading and how it is going for you.  To remain listed as a reader, you must check in regularly.

Accountability and prayer support is critical in completing this process. To help in that, I am enlisting Bible in 90 Days graduates to help stay in contact with readers and check in with them. (Each mentor will be given a short list of readers to check in with each week. Mentors do not have to be reading with us again, but they must have read the entire Bible with this program.)

I am really excited about all the enthusiasm this program has brought to reading the Bible. Reading the Bible in 90 Days certainly changed my life… I can’t wait to read what it will do in yours!

If you would like to join in the next online session of Blogging Thru the Bible in 90 Days, either as a reader or a mentor, or if you would like to help in promoting it, please leave a comment here. Make sure the email address you enter is valid… I’ll be in touch with you directly as the date grows nearer.

Also, please swing by and fill out this short sign-up form so I can stay in touch. Thanks!

And, just in case you are wondering… here’s a link to little background on the Bible in 90 Days program.

I’m excited to read the Bible in 90 days, and I think having a support and accountability will increase the chances of completing the task- I guess I’m going to have to break down and become a Twitterer.

    Hi Amy,
I listened to you on Heaven Today!

I would love to join the July session of reading the bible in 90 days!

So many Bible studies at our churches end for the summer to give the needed rest and restoration to the leaders. So I believe what a wonderful way to stay in tuned to the Lord through the summer. I know for me I actually would be more focused as other studies are not diluting out my time and no homework to help my daughter with.
    God Bless,
    Val Catera

  9. I’m going to give this a try. I have attempted, several times, to read the bible on a daily journey, for a year. I fail come May usually! I even signed up on the internet to have a daily reading emailed to me. That was a big fail!

  13. Hello,

for many years now (I am ashamed to admit how long it really has been) I have felt like I have lost touch with the Lord and I know that I am 100% responsible. I know that I haven’t taken the time and I haven’t persevered.. I have become lazy. I have tried to read through the bible before and failed…. I got through the first 5 books or so….
I want to renew my relationship and I feel that this will be a great starting place. I can’t wait. I have not used Twitter for this kind of thing before, so you’ll have to help me out there. Thank you so much for this ministry.
Bless you! Shannon Storey, wife of 1, mother of 2…. :-)

  15. I am so excited about this! I’ve been looking for a group in my area for some time now after hearing from a friend concerning her experience using this method to read through the Bible. I stumbled on this group. What a blessing! The convenience you are offering for this busy mom of 5 is a dream come true. I can’t wait!

  27. […] Before blogging through Proverbs, I blogged through the entire Bible in 90 days and invited my readers to join me in that endeavor. Nearly each day I posted my SOAP observations from the reading and invited readers to comment and read along with me. Completing that journey with such an amazing online group was a powerful experience. You can read a little more about it here. If you’ve ever wanted to read the Bible in its entirety, the Bible in 90 Days plan is the way to go. Perhaps you’ll consider joining our next group which begins July 5? […]
