Bible in 90 Days Week 10 Rally

Can you believe we are more than 2/3 into our time of reading the entire Bible together?

As we launch into week 10 of reading the Bible in 90 days together, I’d like to pull our group together, see how everyone is doing and rally for a strong finish.

What we are doing is not easy.

What we are doing hasn’t been done by even half of those who are Christians.

What we are doing is powerful, meaningful and probably irritates Satan quite a bit.

This session I’ve asked readers to check in with their mentors directly rather than hosting a group check in here as I’ve done in the past. Your mentors are doing their best to pray for you and keep you reading. And today I want you to see how many of you are out there, reading and praying and fighting to fit this in your schedule. To do that, I’ve asked your 45 mentors to ask you to visit this post today and sound off. I know as your groups have shrunk in numbers the feeling of community can be lost… but our community is still strong. There are still so many of us in this together.

I want each of you to see that you are not struggling alone. I want each of you to see others who are reading, learning, listening, being inspired and also getting frustrated.

You are not alone. We are in this together. And we can finish together, if each of you is committed to it.

If you are one of those struggling… Do you still want to read the Bible in 90 days? Think back to when you first signed up and I asked you those questions. I know that if it wasn’t for the Bible in 90 Days program, I might never have read the whole thing. And I know I am not alone in that. What about you? Why did you decide to join in? Do you still believe in that reason? I still believe you can do this and finish with us. I know you can, if you want to.

If you are one of those on track… How’s it going? What are your secrets for staying on track? Have you had to catch up from a distance? And have you felt any other life changes or heard any messages loud and clear, or even just whispered while you have been reading?

Today please leave a comment to let us know how you are doing and if you are still with us. Your comment can be as short or as long as you like. At the very least, let us know you are there, and, if possible, let us know how the process is going for you.

Then, after you comment, please pick three others to pray for and leave a reply to their comment so they’ll know someone is praying for their success and growth in Christ.

Let’s pull together for these last weeks and cheer each other on. I want each of you to finish with us on November 17. You CAN do this if you want to… Even if you are still on day three’s reading assignment.

Thanks for giving it a go. Now let’s DO THIS!

If you need any resources like the either reading schedule or the link to You are Here in the Bible, please click on over to the Bible in 90 Days resource page after you leave a comment.

So… how’s it coming?

  1. Still reading! I’m doing alright, only a few days behind.

  2. This is my first attempt at B90days and I am seriously behind. I have never enjoyed reading until about a year ago and have failed miserably at attempting to read through the Bible on my own. I have loved this. Hoping to finish even if not on time! I am at the end of Day 35! And honestly changing my daughter’s diet and researching everything I can to help her focus better has been my priority. Thank you for the rally! I have hope.

    1. Hang in there and stay strong! It can be a tough challenge, but you can do this!!

  3. Definitely a hard challenge but one I am glad to take part in. Each time I think I’m all caught up, I find myself a day or two behind. I just push through and neglect things like TV lol :) to read instead.

    1. Keep pushing through! :)

Well, I am a few days behind, but I hope to catch up.
    Greetings from Germany, Caroline

    1. How’s it coming? You can do it!!!

  5. I am still here and still behind. I will persevere though. Next week my schedule should slow down a little bit and I am hoping to do some serious catching up. Thank you for continuing to pray for us and for all the positive posts from the participants. I do feel like I am drawing closer to God as I study His word.

    1. I am so thankful to hear that you feel yourself growing closer to God. :) Keep it up!!

I’m still on Day 58 and struggling to pick up my Bible to read. I still want to finish but am not sure I can get caught up as time and energy are limited on even normal days.

Praying for you Dianne! I also am behind and decided to skip the days I missed and come back to them at the end. It helped me since I am totally a to-do list person, I didn’t feel as discouraged when my reading corresponded with the actual day that I should be reading, even with all the stuff behind me. I also found that it helped to switch up the translations I was reading. Praying that you find the time and are encouraged through what you read.

    2. Dianne, I feel you as I am struggling as you are, but as Amy reminded us, lets remember the passion we had when we signed in to read and trust that the plans the Lord has for us to finish is Good that is why the Evil one wants to derail us! Hang in there and continue reading from where others are bit by bit, because He who began the good work will bring it to completion. Will pray for you to be encouraged.

    3. Hang in there– you can do it and it WILL be worth it!!

  7. I’m about 4 days behind. Last week was a pretty bad week for me, so I should be able to catch up this week. I’m really enjoying reading the Bible chronologically. It is such an overarching story. I can’t wait to get to Jesus!

    1. How’s it coming now? :)

  8. I’m still going strong. I’m in Matthew already. I love reading the Word. I read my Bible first thing of the morning this time around and have it had helped me throughout my day. If you are behind don’t worry just keep reading. You’ll be so glad you did.

  9. Still here and still on track. So thankful that His Word is a living Word, still speaking to our hearts today.

  10. This is my first time to read through the Bible. I’m currently a couple of days behind, but should be back on track by the weekend. I find the 90 day approach easier than a year approach. Somehow a longer reading assignment is overall easier than just a few verses. Thanks for putting the challenge/opportunity out there,

    1. Thanks for joining us!! I’m glad you are enjoying it!

  11. I’m about four days behind, but I’m still encouraged! My husband and mom are reading with me, as well, and it has been great to do this simultaneously with them! I’ve been a Christian for 7 years, and I felt this was long overdue for me. I am so happy He led me to this challenge! Thanks!!!

    1. I’m about as far behind as you, but we can do it! I’ll be praying for you.

    2. Awesome.. and I love that you have 2 others reading with you. Perfect!

  12. I’m not on track, even after reading for 2 hours today. Still thrilled that I’m reading this much. Never read this much of the bible before. I will be starting Isaiah tomorrow.

    1. I’m only a little ahead of you, hang in there though, we can do it!

    2. I hope all is going well and you’re closer to caught up. I’m thankful you are reading with us!

  13. I’m still reading! I was home sick from work today, and used the time to work on getting caught up on my reading. I’ve been behind on the reading for the past month or so, usually somewhere around 10 days behind, but I’ve gradually been getting caught up, and today read 5 days of reading, with only today’s reading left until I’m caught up. Reading every spare minute really helped me get caught up – I was amazed how far I could get in just 5 minute snippets throughout the day, plus a longer chunk of time in the evenings.

    1. Well done on all that catching up!!

  14. First off many thanks to Amy and our mentors. You are amazing and appreciated. I am about 4 days behind, I have been as many as 9 days. This coming weekend, I am going to be busy and so far, I have dropped behind with what I have to do so please pray that I actually find the time to catch up this week and not lose more ground. I am so glad I committed to doing this.

    1. I’m about 4 days behind as well, but we can do this! The weekends are always hardest for me, because I’m so tired after a long week. I’ll be praying that you find the time to catch up.

    2. Yay, Kelly! I think you’re amazing and am so proud of you for hanging in there with this challenge on top of all your other responsibilities. Go, girl!!

    3. You are so welcome– thanks for reading with us! I hope you are getting closer…. :)

I am still going and have finished reading the Old Testament. I’m using the chronological plan and I am loving this! I’m not getting much other reading done but am loving reading such large chunks of the Bible at a time. I’m currently caught up and am hoping to continue on track to finish by Nov. 17th.

  16. I finally caught up this weekend. A long car ride gave me the opportunity. I too am using the NLT Chronological Bible on my Kindle Fire and I love it. I always have it with me so I can take advantage of any small amount of time I have. Keep at it all. I’ll be praying for productive reading sessions for us all this week.

  17. I’m on track and enjoying it. This is my first time reading through the entire Bible. It’s not easy but I’ve found carving out a specific time about the same time every day has kept me on track. Sometimes if I’m really busy I split up the day’s reading by reading half in the afternoon and the rest at night. Thank you to my mentor…it’s great to have that accountability and encouragement.

    1. I’m so glad to read this. :)

  18. I’m still reading – I’m a week ahead (Day 71). I’ve been SOAP-ing along with the reading and it’s turned into something I really enjoy.

  19. This is my first time through in 90 days. I’m on day 53 of the chronological plan and am determined to finish even if it takes me a few extra days. I’m aiming for 90, but won’t quit if I don’t make that. Previously I’ve done a 1 year cover to cover plan. That one took me 2 years, so I am on much better track this time. :) No matter where I end up, this has been a real blessing. Before I signed up I hadn’t touched my bible in months. I signed up on what seemed a spur of the moment thing, but I suspect God was giving me a big ol’ nudge back into His word. Thank you all who are praying to keep us all reading. I am praying too!

    1. I will be praying for you to catch up and finish victorious! God will make a way!

    2. So glad to read this! Thanks for sharing. :)

  20. Still here, on track, just trying to stay steady. I always get behind on Mondays and Wednesdays due to working so I always try to pick up slack in other days and evenings. Loving reading the Bible so much, I’ve never read the Bible all the way through. Looking for to Jesus in the New Testament!!!

  21. Thanks for organizing a rally for us Amy! I have been so blessed by Bible in 90 Days each time, and my team has been a blessing to me this time as well. Still staying on track and excited to finish!

  22. Yvonne M. This is my 2nd time through – doing it chronologically this time. I completed it last time on time so even though I’m behind due to a death in our family and challenging times as a result, I am confident that I can catch up. For some reason the prophets have been a tough “slog” this time and I’m actually planning on going through them again in more detail once I finish this 90 days. Looking forward to getting to the the NT.

    1. So sorry to hear of the sad time your family is having, will pray for you all. I’ve found that with the prophets too and am planning to study them once we’re done as well x

  23. I am on track with my reading!! Woo-hoo! For the first time since doing this reading plan (3 times now) I did get behind due to sickness and a crazy 2 weeks. I began reading just a few minutes whenever I had spare time and then spent one day at home reading a bunch!! I am so excited to be starting the new testament too! I am reading through these comments and praying for all the readers!!

  24. This is my second attempt to read the bible in 90 days. last time I did not finish. I only got to Ester. so I have already passed up my last attempt. I started my reading on the 29th of August so I was 9 days behind to start. I thought I would probably get overwhelmed but really wanted to do it anyways. I fell farther behind several different times but kept on going. I finally decided to come up with a plan to get caught up to my start date and was able to do it this past Thursday. I really kicked in to gear reading the last two weeks when I realized I had already read farther than before. I just finished Isaiah last night and am determined to finish by november 17th with the group. I am going to race to the finish line! This is a great feeling!

    1. We are about the same amount behind, I feel like I’m in a race too! How awesome we will feel when we get done on the 17th though!

By God’s grace and strength I’m back on track as of today after being really, really behind (like double digits behind). I got very discouraged but knowing that God has called me to do this plus having group accountability has helped me keep going. I figured out how much extra I would need to read each day (usually two-three days worth) and then just read, read, and read some more! I’ve been reading in place of when I might normally watch TV, read a book or magazine, or catch up on blogs or Pinterest. I try to plan ahead for when I know I will have a chunk of free time (for example, during my kids’ PE class on Fridays) and make sure to have my Bible and schedule handy. I have also tried to concentrate on reading without stopping. I’m using a Bible without commentary and any time I read something that I want to know more about or study in detail, I make a note on my B90Days bookmark. I’ve already got Amos and Ezekiel marked to revisit later, along with a bunch of verses here and there that stood out to me along the way.

This catch-up schedule is not ideal, and I’m not proud that I put myself in a spot where I needed to read so much to get back to where I should be. But it’s comforting to know that God is always faithful, even when I am not. I’m excited to start the New Testament today and am looking forward to continuing reading–hopefully just one day at a time. :)

    1. I also have been double digits behind! I am still 10 days behind but will get there. I will keep you in my prayers as I know it is tough but so worth the finish!

    2. Stephanie, I am making a list of things to go back and study also!! I would like to study Daniel more and am thinking of doing Beth Moore’s study. Praying for you!!!

  26. I am checking in from group 17. I am just starting Ezekiel, but with the help of my buddy, I will keep going and finish on time. This weekend I read through Isaiah to Lamentations, and truly hope to not leave myself another marathon reading session. This is my first time reading in 90 days, and this is the furthest I’ve ever read. I’m looking forward to finishing the Old Testament. My bible marks prophecies with open stars in the margins. When the prophecy is fulfilled, the stars are solid black. It’ll be nice to see the stars change when I get into the New Testament =-)

I’m behind too so please pray that I will finish , maybe not on the right daybut it is the furthest and most that I have ever read the bible

    1. Hang in there Jane! We are praying for you!

    2. Keep Reading. Don’t get discouraged. You can do it!

  28. I’m still caught up. I have noticed this last week that my “fun” reading has suffered a bit, but I’ve been able to squeeze in my Bible reading every day. It’s funny how reading has always been a priority to me, but reading the Bible sometimes slips. I’m enjoying the challenge as a way to keep perspective on what’s really important. I’m hoping to take this lesson even after the challenge is done, and to make reading God’s word a priority even when I don’t have a deadline.

    1. erika trautman Avatar

I am right there with you Vicky! At the beginning I found myself reading the Bible and then ‘rewarding’ myself with my ‘fun’ reading! What is wrong with that picture! I’ll be praying for you that the Lord gives you the time to not only read and enjoy His word, but other things too! :)

    2. Sounds great. It is hard to keep it a priority… but you can do it! :)

  29. I’ve read through the Word many times, but never in 90 days or chronologically–it’s been amazing! Amazing to see the plan of God unfold, how (even through the anguish of the prophets) He’s done nothing but long to pour out His love on us and have us receive it! I hit the NT today and it’s deeply moving after 64 days (representing 4000 years) to see the Hope of the Messiah–Good News indeed!
I’ve mostly stayed on track…I’ve learned to carry my Bible with me everywhere and read a few verses any time I end up waiting for kids, etc. It’s become a wonderful habit and I think I’ll miss it a bit when it’s over.
I’m surprised how much I value the community in the mentor group. Who knew? You did! :-) I may never meet most of these ladies until heaven, but I love that we’ve connected for now.

I do the same thing you do, Michelle–carry my Bible everywhere! And the only solution for that emptiness after the 90 Days is over is to do it again! :) This is my fourth time through, and I am still learning. For me, a good pace has been to do a 90 day session, then take the next three months doing something else at a slower pace. Then another 90 day session. I read through two times last year, and this is my second time this year. Before that, I had NEVER EVER read my Bible through in my whole life–which I am ashamed to say, but it’s true. Just found that the 90 Day program “clicks” for me–probably because I have a short attention span and cannot stick with a one year Bible reading program! I figure with the 90 Day program, it will be over almost as soon as it starts, and I don’t dare put off my reading or I know I will get so far behind I won’t be able to catch up! I’m thinking I should do this for the rest of my life–read the Bible through twice each year! :)

      1. Thanks, Susan! I KNOW that I’ll do this again. I’m praying for direction as to how God would lead me to study His word immediately following this 90 Days.

  30. Just finished Day 40, so I’m behind. I am the farthest I have ever been, and I plan on finishing, in 90 days or more if needed. Very excited! The accountability of our group has helped tremendously!

    1. You will be in my prayers as you keep reading. You sound determined to finish!

    2. Go Ruth! I’m so proud of you! I’m pretty sure I would have given up by now if I were in your shoes. I will pray that God finds you the time you need to accomplish your reading.

    3. erika trautman Avatar

I’m praying for you Ruth! I understand being that far behind, day 40 was about where I fell off, then I got back to it and had a great week of staying on track. I’ll be praying for you to be able to hang in there and finish, regardless of the number of days it takes you!

    4. Sharon L Avatar
      Sharon L

You can do it, Ruth! I am not caught up, either, but I will pray that you find the extra time needed to get this done. Just keep reading!

    5. I’m glad to hear that you are still sticking to it and reading, even if you are behind. Stay strong and I’ll be praying for you. :)

  31. I have stayed mainly on course. I also read early in the morning (well, I guess that’s relative….early for ME) and then right before I go to sleep. The other thing I did to help make it easier was to pick out the NLT. I did get tired of flipping while reading chronologically, so I bought a chrono Bible (NLT study) and it’s AWESOME. Great pictures and colors….good eye candy and that’s important for me. Know thyself! :)

  32. I’m behind, but definitely motivated to finish up!

    1. Keep reading…..I will keep you in my prayers!

  33. OK, so I’m not on track but I read a little everyday. I’ve found myself reading parts and then re-reading to make sure that I’ve understood. Even if I don’t finish on Nov. 17, I’m going to keep going. This is the most and the furthest that I’ve ever read in the bible and it’s been great! I also started a weight loss program, for health reasons, on the same day that I started reading for the 90 day challenge. I’m down 28 lbs !!! Can we say that God works in many ways!?!? OH YEAH!!! :) Cheers and Blessings to you all!!!

    1. I also found that combining a spiritual health program with a physical health program seems to give me more motivation to continue with both. Congrats on your progress and prayers for continued success!

  34. Reading the Bible with everyone has been such a blessing. I am on track and know I would not be without the check in each week and having such a great group.

The things that have helped me the most are carrying the bible with me most of the time so I can read if I have a few seconds. I also leave early when I can for appointments or to pick up my son from school so I can have extra time to read. I think I have done half of the reading in the car. Also, using a sticky note to mark exactly where I stopped has helped. For me, if I can read even just a little extra helps me feel like I have a better start for the next day.

I know we have God on our side and will each finish. I am praying for us all every time I open the bible!

    1. I love the fun places that I’ve read my Bible that I never thought of doing before!

  35. I am really behind and finding it hard to catch up. I am continuing to read and want to complete my reading even if it may not happen within the 90 days. I have never read the Bible completely through and I know that this is something that I want to do and want to continue to do. Thanks for providing this wonderful group and I hope that the friendships that we have formed through reading God’s word will continue for many years to come.

    1. I’m so glad you are determined to finish! Keep up the positive outlook – I know you’ll feel wonderful once you do finish even if it isn’t the designated 90. I’ll be thinking of you, Regina!

    2. I’m behind too, and also wondering if I will finish on time. I do plan to keep reading, though.

  36. I am on track, but at one point I was more than 7 days behind. Once I had things more together at home (house cleaned and ready for a meeting here) I spent a day reading and catching up on laundry. I was able to catch up that week and I’ve tried NOT to fall behind since. One way I stay on track is to read first thing in the morning. If I wait until after my children are up, there is no way for me to get through it all at once. We took tv away from the kids AND adults for 2 weeks, and during that time I felt like I had MUCH more time to get my reading done in the morning, because I wasn’t tempted to turn on the news and get sucked in before I did my reading.

    1. I once read that since God’s Word is our daily bread, we should “feed” on it before any other words. I’ve taken that thought with me and try to make sure I read at least a little before turning on the TV or the computer and getting sucked in. Kudos on catching up! Praying for continued success!

I’m so glad I joined this challenge, otherwise I’d have stopped a long time ago! I’ve tried reading the Bible by myself and have always given up each time. Its great knowing that I’m not alone and that reading as a group, we’re supporting and praying for each other. Last week has been a stressful week and I didn’t get my much of my reading (or housework) done, so I’m about a week behind. But I’m still here and reading.

    1. I agree – the accountability has made the difference for me too! This group is indeed a blessing and everyone is pulling for you to finish whether that means in 90 days or 100 days!

Group 7 may be small, but it is the best. Everyone who is still in is really dedicated, when its easy and when its hard. I was surprised how hard the Chronological reading has been. I am on track, but have been 1/2 to one day behind a lot. The pace can be relentless, once you catch up, you can’t rest a day, because then you’re behind again. I’m really glad I’m doing this, but it has been hard (The Tyndale NLT bible helped, because it followed the readings.

    1. Keep at it! Isn’t it wonderful to be accountable but for something that has such great rewards? :) Cheers and blessings!

  39. I am on track, but lost a few days and had to work hard to catch up. One thing our mentor has done to help us is to divide our group into “Bible Buddies.” I love the results! I find my Bible Buddies very encouraging, and it’s great getting to know them on a closer level. I read in the mornings on my days off and in the evenings when I am working. When I got behind, I kept my phone with me and read extra whenever I found the time.

Thank you for the toolbox. I think this is a great project!

    1. It’s so exciting that we can use the technology around us to help us and not to hinder us! What a great example!!! Cheers and blessings!

I am still here and on track. It hasn’t been easy–and I know it is not easy for any of us. One month ago today my sweet mother-in-law died VERY unexpectedly. And this date today would have been her birthday. It kind of threw me for a loop. Nothing seemed “normal” any more. But I found comfort in automatic things, and I just continued to read. Sometimes I didn’t think–it hurt too much to think about what had happened. But I read.

My only “advice” that I can give that has worked well for me is that I read both morning and night. I will read half of my next day’s reading the night before. Somehow, this always makes me feel good–like I’m getting ahead! Then, when the morning comes, I “only” have half the amount of reading left to do. This has come in SO handy on those days when disaster seems to strike–I oversleep, a child is sick, or whatever. And if it is a day that I absolutely cannot get that morning’s reading in, it is easier to fit it in during the day if you are only having to fit in half the reading amount.

Praying for everyone–hang in there. Satan does not want us to finish, but no matter what–just keep reading. It’s a GOOD thing to make him mad! But most of all, we want to make beautiful Jesus GLAD! :)

    1. Thinking of you in your time of grieving…and thanking God that He arranged for you to participate in this program at this time. He loves us so much! Blessing you and your family with peace and comfort–especially today.

        Thank you, Michelle!

        1. I’ll be praying for you too!

    2. Oh, Susan, I am so sorry to read about your mother-in-law. I can’t imagine what challenges you have been facing. I am thankful you have found comfort in the Word, though. Thank you for sharing this and thank you for reading with us. Again.

  41. Thanks for the rally. I’m a few days ahead. I am cheering and loving on you all from H-Town. :)

      1. Thanks. Trying to leave myself some cushion. :o)

      1. No problem sis. That’s what we’re here for. Take care and keep reading.

  42. I’m 4.5 days behind but know I can catch up and finish on time. The reminder that what we’re doing irritates the enemy helps me explain my distractions and motivates me to overcome and get back on track. I’m constantly amazed at how far we’ve come in so short a time. I love it when God blows my mind! :)

    1. Fantastic, Eleanor! Stay strong and keep going! :)

Praying for you to be successful! I know our time alone with our Savior is precious to Him. Just think of all the other things He must want to communicate to us–we just need to keep making that time with Him a priority.

    3. Hang in there. The enemy will do whatever he can to keep us from growing closer to God. Luckily, we serve a God that will do anything to keep us with him.

    4. I hope you have been doing well and fighting back with His Word. :) Hang in there!!

  43. Loving this challenge. Though I’m behind, like many, I’m continuing my journey and know it will be successful. I’m feeling great about my daily reading and loving that it is part of my day (most days) even if it isn’t always as much as I had hoped. Thanks for the challenge.

    1. I’m glad you are enjoying it! Keep to it and read, read, read!

  44. As I said in my FB group check-in this morning, I’m very very very far behind. I was doing good right up until the time I went on vacation… and then just lost the habit. There’s quite a few other things that are happening in my life right now (some of which are making me question my faith as a whole)… so I can definitely use prayers as I think much of it is attacks from the enemy.

I hope some people will be able to join the twitter chat tonight… and if not, I’ll be using that dedicated time for my own reading. I’m still committed to finishing. I must do this. I’m relying on God to be faithful to me, therefore I must be faithful to him.

    1. Hang in there, Julie. This is a tough challenge and Satan is on the attack. This is your time to do this and I know you can. I’ll continue to pray for you!

Julie–I will pray for you to be able to catch up and keep up! Vacations can REALLY wreck our best laid schedules, I know from personal experience! Keep at it! And as you already said, He is faithful to us–it is only right for us to be faithful to Him.

    3. I understand how you are feel and I am having a difficult time getting back on track. Praying that you will continue to read and that you will be strengthened & renewed by reading God’s word!

    4. Blessing you, Julie! How amazing is God that He would arrange that you would be reading the Word so intensely at a time that is challenging your faith? I pray that He will daily open your eyes to the Love He is expressing to you…He is near to those who are struggling. He loves you so much!

    5. I’m thinking of you, Julie. I can relate too – my life is a tad crazy and now for the second time, I am hundreds of miles from home and trying to find the time to read. You’ll be in my prayers – we’re rooting for you!

  45. I have the wonderful opportunity to be a mentor this time around. I read through last year and I really enjoyed my mentor and the community we developed in our group. I am on track for the first time in several weeks. I have been up to a week behind. I have had several things “pop up”that discouraged me form reading. However, I have forced myself to block out time and just read, read, read. When I get behind, I use every free moment to read. I have the YouVersion app on my phone and I read everywhere. I have been searching and yearning for a deeper intimacy with God and I can feel the slight changes. I am not where I would like to be, but I am pretty excited to feel as if I am getting close.

    1. Thank you so much for serving as a mentor this session. I am proud of your diligence in completing the reading and in helping others. Keep up the awesome work!

      1. Thanks Amy. Thank you for starting this, It has been life changing.

    2. Awesome testimony! I’ve really enjoyed being a mentor for the first time too. I love getting the emails during the week and learning how God’s Words are working in others’ lives. I admire your grabbing any free moment to read. And yes, it is so exciting to be almost in the NT!

      1. Thank you Carrie. I love the New Testament and I have actually gotten a few days ahead in anticipation of reaching the New Testament. I have been working on being disciplined and giving love and I know the New Testaments will help me with that.

I am on track…I try to stay ahead by a day or two, so when I’m unable to get through all the reading for the day, I don’t feel like I’m falling behind. I am LOVING the reading. Just seeing God’s hand throughout the old testament and his grace he gives to his people is amazing. I am so thankful he sent Jesus!

    1. Fantastic, Jennifer! Seeing His fingerprints is amazing, isn’t it?

    2. So proud of you. ;)

  47. I am on track. I have been getting up a little earlier so that I can read first thing in the morning. It has been such a great start to my day! This is my second time reading through the Bible in 90 Days, and things have spoken to me that I didn’t even notice before. God’s word is alive and amazing! I am really enjoying this time through!

    1. Great job, Laura– and what a perfect way to start your day.
I also see new things each time I read. :)
      Keep it up!

I’m reading in 90 days for the first time. (I’ve read on a year plan before.) I find I’m seeing things from a “whole” more easily as I read at this pace (bigger chunks each day). This morning, a new praise hit me of how blessed we are to live in a space of time where the entire revealed Word of God is before us and how every Word from Him is a terrific provision.
I’m a couple of days behind, in Ezekiel 24 on day 61. I’ve been on track and up to 3 days behind, back and forth throughout. I read most mornings and then read more in the afternoon. I’ve got a pencil where I’m marking things the Holy Spirit prompts and put words at the top of the page to help me find those markings by topic later. Excited to see how God will use this later.

    1. Keep it up, Jeanette. I agree that we are incredibly blessed to see all that we can. Think about how amazing it will be when we even understand more!

    2. Good for you, Jeanette! I too mark favorite verses. What a wonderful sentence, “we are to live in a space of time where the entire revealed Word of God is before us,” Amen!!

Unfortunately I am a little behind, only 4 days, which isn’t too bad. Of course I am finding it hard to find time to read, but I knew that coming in. A buys mom of two toddlers doesn’t get much time to herself. I have found that my husband is being amazing through this process. He encourages me every day, asking about my readings and how far I am (he minored in religion in University, and has read the entire Catholic bible several times). he has even helped with some house work on really buys days when I need to just sit and read.

We have all come so far, and what we are doing is so incredible, we must keep going! The end is near, and just think how great you will feel once you are finished. Not many people can say they have read the entire Bible, let alone in this short amount of time!

    1. I am so thankful your husband is behind you on this… that makes such a big difference! I have no doubts you’ll make up your 4 days at just the right time. Thanks for reading with us.

    2. Blessing you and your husband! So cool to have his support. Being a mom is busy and yet we need the truth of His word to get us through it. Praying that the Word will continue to speak Hope and Strength into your life!

  50. I’m honored to be a mentor this session and I chose to read along with my group. I read the Bible at night, usually right before I shut the light out and go to sleep. There’s something wonderful about God’s Words floating in my head! For me, it’s important to find something to read following B90 because Amy is right – Satan isn’t happy when we find pleasure, comfort and sustenance in the Bible. I am so proud of all the readers! This alone keeps me going every day and not falling behind!

Thanks for mentoring and reading alongside others! I’ll pray for God’s truth to continue His work in you – even while you sleep! Love that.

    2. Yeah, Carrie! I am so thrilled that you are mentoring and reading this session, as well. :) And what a great way to finish out your day!
