Scripture: Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Observation: He wants us to be filled with joy and peace. We can get that through asking and trusting.
Application: I would LOVE to overflow with hope. I feel like I overflow with grumpiness too often. Guess I need to ask and trust.
Prayer: Oh Heavenly Father: Please bring on the peace and joy! Forgive me for being cranky. Help me to get all that out of me and replace it with joy and peace which can only come from you. Fill me up so much that I can only share this joy and peace, which are your love, with all those around me. Thank you, Lord for listening and for guiding me to change.
