Scripture: Luke 1:45
And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.

S: v 78 – tender mercy, sunrise O: 2 things – that God isn’t just merciful, but tender and that His coming is like the sunrise – banishing the darkness, all things fresh and new. A: He loves me so much and has made all things new – I need to keep these truths front and center of my mind. P: Oh, thank you God for what you have done. Your tender love for us – for me – caused you to send your Son to us – to me – from on high. Thank you.
I’ve been good so far about writing my own post before reading yours, and glad I did too! Same/similar thoughts today as well :)

I chose to do the readings with my girls. What spoke to me, in addition to Mary’s faithful obedience, is dedication. Complete surrender to His will. Wow. http://www.onemotherstrueheart.com/2011/12/reading-the-gospel-of-luke-with-moms-toolbox/
I focused on the salvation portion when Zecariah prophesied over a newborn John. What really jumped out to me were verses 76-79 when Zecariah spoke of John teaching the people about salvation with God and how His light will shine on dark and sinful lives so He can guide our feet into a path of peace. I am so thankful that He provides a peaceful path through the salvation of our souls.
haha! Goes to show how well I read. I thought since I was a day behind that I had to read the first two chapters. Guess I am ahead? I heard that “with God nothing is impossible” and that no matter the circumstances, there is a plan that we don’t always see and/or understand. Such as traveling to another country for a census.
