Now that summer travel and summer reading is in full swing, and now that the new Nook has been released, I am weighing the options of buying an eReader. But I am not sure which route to take… Kindle or Nook? Nook or Kindle? Or something completely different?
I have an iPad and use the Kindle app on it already, but I hate the glare from the sun. And my son is reading so quickly that I have to download books for him, too, in addition to all the books I check out, buy and cart on our travels. I’d love to lighten our load (and not have to share my device… Unless I fall in love with his. :) )
While on vacation last week at the Tyler Place several of us began discussing it and someone suggested I ask my readers for their opinions. So, here I am, asking you.
If you have an eReader, which one do you love and why?
I’m looking for one to serve solely as a reader, not one that will let me jump off and get crazy on the internet or anything.
Please weigh in on your favorite and let me know why. Which is lighter? Easier to use? Has better features? Allows you to lend and borrow books? Has a bigger library? Makes it easy to buy and download books on the go? Anything else you love?
I know you have an opinion, please share.
