Sunday morning I’ll be back in the saddle for the first time since, um, June, cycling in the Tour de Pink, a ride to raise money for and awareness of the battle against breast cancer.
When I first set my sights on this ride I thought I would ride the 80 mile route. I knew I could accomplish it, but it would still be a challenge. Then, about mid-summer, when I realized I hadn’t been on my bike since June, I thought about switching to the 63-mile route. Now I’m down to 47 miles.
So, Sunday morning I promise to read, but I may not post my SOAP devotional. But you can bet I’ll be in prayer for several hours. And if you pop on by in the morning, I would really appreciate a prayer for an enlightening and safe ride.
I love getting out there on my bike and just cycling away, listening to what God has to share with me.
And I’ll be cycling completely by His grace tomorrow. And I know he’ll carry me through.
I can’t wait to report on what I hear!
PS Yes, I was able to get a new phone today. So I’m still in touch (but not when I’m pedaling!!)
