Scripture: 1 Corinthians 16: 13-14
13Be on guard. Stand true to what you believe. Be courageous. Be strong. 14And everything you do must be done with love.
Observation: Do not back down from your faith, and do all things out of love.
Application: I should be bold in my faith, but not so bold that I do things because they are “right,” just doing more than loving. It can be easy to get caught up in the actions that I think might be displaying love. But if I don’t put the love behind them, they are meaningless.
Prayer: Lord, guide my heart and my actions. Help me to always act in love and do what you guide me to do in kindness. Help me to not do things because I should and then do them without heart, but be moved your love to do things as you would have me do them.
Thank you for your unending love of me… of all of your children.
