Scripture: Ephesians 6:16
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Observation: Cover yourself with faith so that you will be protected from attacks by Satan.
Application: Sometimes I do feel as though I am under attack. Sometimes things just seem too oddly bad and strange that I have a feeling the challenges are coming from Satan. I pray about it to my Father and shout in my head to Satan to “GET OUT!”
Now I’m going to remember to take up a shield of faith daily, and really try to envision that around me so that the enemy’s arrows of ickiness and evil will be extinguished.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for guiding me and protecting me and preserving me for your use. Help me to remember to put on and envision your shield, so that when things are feeling shaky, I can remember your protection and the evil efforts will be thwarted.
Thank you, Lord, for your protection and love.
