Scripture: Psalm 50:15
Trust me in your times of trouble,
And I will rescue you,
And you will give me glory.
Observation: I must turn to and trust God when I need help and he will help.
Application: This one is pretty straightforward: I need to turn to God (not to me or others) when I need help. He will guide me. And I must share where my help came from so as to glorify him.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for your unending well of help and guidance. I call on it a lot, but perhaps I still need to call on you first more often.
I should seek you first when I am feeling frazzled and overwhelmed. You will show me how to get it prioritized and finish what I should. You will help me in all sorts of times of need if I just ask to be rescued.
Please be with me today, Lord. I feel as though I have too much to do in the next few hours. Show me what to do and enable me to get it done. And cause my work to glorify you alone.
Thank you for your help, Lord. I know with you I will get what needs to be done, done. And done well.
