I realize February has just (kinda) begun and that I’ve already invited you to read the whole Bible, cover to cover, with me starting the day after Easter this April, but, well, I have an invitation for you for March…
Wanna read through the Proverbs with me this March????
The reading plan is simple: Just one chapter of Proverbs a day, with each chapter read on the date of the chapter number. And it will be a GREAT way to get you in the practice for Bible in 90 Days in April.
Why Proverbs?
The book of Proverbs is a book of wisdom… and the wisdom of the Proverbs spans all sorts of aspects of life. I love that each chapter can be read quickly and easily and each reading has the opportunity for deeper thought and conversation with the Holy Spirit.
When will you read?
Reading a touch of wisdom each morning can be the BEST way to start a day. It can help get your head and heart straight before diving into texts, emails, social media or even conversations for the day.
Orrrrrr…..Reading a Proverb a day at night can be a great way to clear your head and heart so you can refocus in what is true before heading to sleep.
Why read the Bible in community?
I love reading in community with others. Right now I’m making my way through Psalms with a friend. We text each other each day as we finish to just let the other know we completed the reading and sometimes share our thoughts.
Jesus instructed us that together we are stronger… so why not read together? For the month of March, I will post daily, giving everyone the opportunity to pop in and let the others know you are reading, too… and the opportunity to share any insights you may have found in the reading.
