Are you still with me? What a WEEK it has been!
Our first week of reading has been QUITE a week of reading, my friends. I am really impressed with all of you that are still with me reading, listening, praying and hanging in for the journey. There has certainly been a LOT to take in both on the surface and in the deep. I am thrilled that you are here with me, soaking it all in alongside me.
Thank you for joining me in this journey.
I have no doubt that you have had a few questions along the way. I pray that you are making your way through the reading, able to keep going without seeking out all of the answers. No doubt you have had and will have questions, big and small throughout the reading. Yes, you will get answers, big and small– and some of those answers will match up to your questions, but some will not.
I would like to encourage you to KEEP READING and KEEP LISTENING and keep asking as you like. But do your absolute best not to let the questions get the best of you. Just write them down and listen, soak, wait and read truth. Keep reading the Bible. Keep journaling. Wait. Don’t take the deep dives into other sources just yet. Just keep reading and listening here to the Word. Get the big picture for now
This week our reading will be about just that: waiting and waiting and waiting… then we’ve got some plagues, then go time, then a new life, how to live and even the concept of delegation (I love that one!). There is a LOT of detail in there and lots of good stuff… and lots of hard stuff to follow (which makes me oh-so-thankful for my Savior!)
This week sticks more with more one story, one narrative, than so many different people.
Hang in there with me sweet friends. I know last week was a hard start. I know the the whole Bible has challenges, But it holds so much beauty and I am so thankful you are here with me reading it ALL. It WILL all come together. It WILL all be worth it.
Ya still in? Please do let me know.
I’d love to hear from you. Drop me a note in the comments, then download this week’s schedule and hop to the reading. I tried use less ink this week. (OOPS on that for last week– I’m learning, too!)
In love,
