When you love completely, it shows

Scripture: Mark 30

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.

Observation: Jesus was asked here what the most important commandment is and answers with this one. (He continues with another, second most important one, as well.)

Application: In loving the Lord completely, all other commandments will fall into place. If you truly love God completely, in all these aspects, wouldn’t you want to change your life to honor and glorify Him in all areas? If you are following this commandment, you cannot pick and choose where you let God into your life. He needs to be everywhere. That will show true, full, complete love.

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for transforming my heart. Please guide me in continuing to make changes for you, to let you in all parts of my life and let your light shine within me wherever I go and in all circumstances. Thank you for loving me, and for guiding me as my love for you grows.

    the thing that always grabs my attention with this commandment is that if I do spend ALL my heart, mind and soul energy on loving God, then there is no room for anything else.
    no hatred. no envy. no jealousy. no spite. no lust.

    Just God.
    Ya know it is all so simple and we make it so complex.

    Just love God with everything fibre of your being. It Is what we were CREATED to do after all.

    thank you for a lovely, loving reminder of that.
