Scripture 1 Thessalonians 3:8
For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord.
Observation: Paul is saying that he has heard of the Thessalonians’ continuing faith in Christ and is encouraged and filled with joy at their firm commitment.
Application: The responses I have had to this blog have been very encouraging and exciting to me.
Even when I began sharing my devotionals in July, I didn’t realize how much excitement would come from sharing my faith and observations. I just did it because I felt instructed to do so. And I thought I would learn and grow from the experience.
I continue to learn and grow… and be encouraged by you, your comments and emails.
I hope this blog will continue to serve the Lord in ways He would like. And I hope it encourages you to read His word directly and grow your relationship with our Lord and Savior.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for the opportunity to serve you. Thank you for opening my eyes to a way I could use your gifts to share you with others. Please continue to guide me. So often I lose focus and pursue worldly things for myself and the blog. Please keep me focused on you. And let me use my skills in ways that honor you alone. Thank you for the encouragement I have received from those who are reading Momstoolbox and growing their faith. Please continue to use me, and bring those you want me to reach here.
