Honey, I’m good

This morning I heard Andy Grammer’s song, “Honey I’m Good” on Sirius XM and couldn’t help but smile.

A song on mainstream radio that is totally catchy and talks about staying true to the one you love? Wait. What? Oh yes!!

“Oh, baby. No, baby. You got me all wrong baby.  My baby’s already got all of my love…”

Give it a listen. Then tell me what you think about it.

I’ve already downloaded it on iTunes. I’m in support of THIS!

  1. Fantastic song! Thanks for sharing, Amy!!!!

After 47 years of marriage, I can say that it just gets better all the time… in all ways! ;o))
I just received an email from my Honey that he will be home early this afternoon, and my reply was :o))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Bye, ya’ll. I have plans for the afternoon. :o))

P.S. On a serious note, it seems to me that most all long term marriages go through a time of testing that requires simply being true to your wedding vows because you made a promise to God that you WOULD love each other, unconditionally. It’s kinda like He’s saying, “Did you really mean that?” (NEVER talking about abuse here…). Once you journey through that time, trusting God for the consequences if you simply obey Him, and when you get to the other side, that’s when you learn what “becoming one” is all about. God’s gift of GRACE in the gift of your marriage and husband are truly indescribably wonderful! It is my prayer that every young married woman reading this will gt to experience that GRACE in her marriage and in her loving relationship with her husband. :o))
