Hello, sweet friends! It is TUESDAY, the last day of my birth month when I get to pass the birthday baton on to my younger son. His birthday is later this week. When he was younger, he thought the Fourth of July fireworks were for him. So cute. But I digress.
Back to the New Testament in 40 Days.
Today our reading is John 7-11.
I loved it. I loved the new stories. The beauty of waiting. His perfect timing, His beauty of not needing to be in the center of it all. His beauty of understanding the master plan and how things work together to make it happen, of how every single piece makes sense to Him, even when it does not make sense to us right away. And how very much He loves all of us.
It is all right there today in every single story we read. So beautiful. So true. And He shared it with us because He wants us to know.
And what can we do with that? Where can we go with it?
I hope that it gives you some peace in all the worldly uncertainty.
He’s got us. He has us. He loves us. Yes, the world IS in crazy times, but eternity is figured out for us in His hands. Ahhhhhh. Breathe that in for a moment…. or for life. That gives me life.
I am so glad to be reading this with you today, being reminded of these things today and each of these 40 days. When I read and blog, often I hear Him differently than when I read alone. Also, I love hearing your stories. So thank you for sharing them in the may ways you have.
In love and gratefulness,
