The reading officially begins Sunday January 7.
If you are in, I will do my best to help you read, attentively, every single word of the Bible and get the most out of the experience.
It will be an incredible experience and I want you to succeed… and I KNOW you can.
I’ve guided thousands of people through reading every single word. All sorts of people have read with me: working people, retired people, teens, travelers, stay at home moms, people going through intense medical times, people building houses, parenting children, babysitting grandchildren, going through big life changes, little life changes, professionals, singles, marrieds, widows, widowers….
If you WANT to do this and commit to doing this, YOU CAN READ THE ENTIRE BIBLE with me in the next 90 days. But you have to want to do it. There will be moments that it will be challenging.
I am here to help you push through. (All of us are.. the comments can be inspiring if we all pull together!!)
Here’s a quick overview of what you can expect from me:
Each Sunday I will post:
- the daily reading assignments for the upcoming week
- a few reflection questions for you to ponder
- an overview of the books of the Bible you will be reading that week
Your job is to open up your Bible and read, attentively, every word and do your best to:
- Stay on track in reading daily
- Digest as much as possible
- Understand that you won’t understand everything
- Journal using the SOAP method (if you so choose)
- Leave comment each week on the weekly post so I know that you are with us
Some of you may choose the listen to the Bible instead of read it for yourself. If you want to do that, it is 100% your call. If you do listen, please do so attentively… I want you to get the most out of it!
I have created a journal to help you reflect on your reading. It includes the reading assignments, weekly reflections and a space for you to journal each day using SOAP. (It’s basically the journal I wish I had many years ago!!)
You can grab your own copy of the Journaling Through the Bible in 90 Days journal on Amazon or journal however you see fit…. This is all about YOU and the Holy Spirit.
The You are Here in the Bible overviews I will post most weeks come from a document created by Ted Cooper, who first shared the Bible in 90 Days concept with me. He has given me permission to share those documents with you here.
