Tonight I sent myself an email that I didn’t receive. Or at least I didn’t think I received it. It wasn’t in my In box. It was Lost In Space….. or not.
Yep. You know where this is going….
The email ended up in my Junk Mail folder. And that would be a Junk Mail folder I didn’t even know that existed.
In December I got a new computer and new anti-virus software. And with that came a new Junk Mail folder about which I was completely unaware.
So, dear readers, I come to you with egg on my face (Where did that expression originate?) and lots of apologies.
There were emails in there from friends. There were emails in there from bloggers politely asking to be added to the list of Bible in 90 Days bloggers, there were invitations, reminders and yes, a fair share of SPAM, too.
But I feel terrible for all of you who thought I was ‘too busy,’ or ignoring you or just clueless.
Guess I was clueless. And yes, I haven’t been as quick to respond to email and comments in the past few days, but there are emails from weeks ago in there. And I am genuinely sorry.
Please forgive me.
So, guess I’ve got my Works for Me Wednesday post figured out now. Sending myself a reminder email from my phone and then wondering where it could be in my computer really worked for me, even if the Junk Mail folder didn’t.
I would strongly recommend clicking through your SPAM folders regularly… and knowing which SPAM folders are from when. I have a few.
I am sorry.
And please, for much better tales of cleverness, check out Works for Me Wednesday at We Are THAT Family. You are bound to find some great tips and tricks there.
Now I’m going to sign off and try not to be so irritated with myself.
