Apply the wisdom. Proverbs 22

Scripture: Proverbs 22: 17

Pay attention and listen to the sayings of the wise;

apply your heart to what I teach,

Observation:

Don’t just gloss over what I am sharing with you. Take it to heart. Really apply it.

Application:

I think God is reminding me here that He sends wisdom to me through people around me, through the Bible and through our own relationship. It is one thing to just listen and think things are nice or clever, but it is another to really apply what is being heard and learn it.

I believe He wants me to really apply the wisdom that I am shown.

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for bringing wisdom into my life by expected means and also unexpected means. Please guide me in applying that wisdom and living the life you have set for me. Following you is the best way and I want to do that. I just get so frustrated when I get de-railed!

Help me to sort through so many messages and just listen to those sent by you. Help me to follow you completely and do so in confidence. I want to follow your path alone.
