  1. I’m sad to say that I am on this day right now, Saturday the 20th of August. But my main shock was reading through 2 Kings chapter 6…verses 28-29 specifically…okay, really? They ATE HER SON??? I understand famine but you eat your young so that you survive??????? It’s amazing me how I am shocked when I read parts of the Old Testament and hear about them sacrificing their firstborn to win a war and eating their own child so that tomorrow they’ll eat someone else’s child! It saddens me and I have to admit, my stomach turns at the thought. And I’m not even a mom yet! What are your thoughts on this passage????
