Today’s Reading: Romans 15:1- 1 Corinthians 14:40
Scripture: Romans 15:5-6
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Observation:
May we all band together for Christ.
Application:
Reading this, our Bible in 90 Days community came to mind… and stuck with me all day long.
God wants us to pull together and be strong for him.
I love how our Bible in 90 Days community prays for each other and encourages each other through comments, tweets and the like. By pulling together, we can better glorify our Father and encourage each other to know him more as we read through the Bible together.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for the community that comes from reading the Bible in 90 Days together.
Please guide each reader in feeling your power and the prayers that are being lifted up for her or him by others in our community. Even as we wrap up, show us how to encourage each other and grow in the ways you intend.
Please guide me as I figure out the best ways to strengthen our community and open communication between our readers going forward.
Thank you so much for our group and the opportunity to serve you in this way.
Please, Lord, give us a spirit of unity among our group as we follow you, so that we may glorify you with one heart and one message of love.
