Welcome to the Week 6 check in post for the Bible in 90 Days with MomsToolbox!
Today is our 36th day of reading, and our 6th weekly check in.
I don’t know about you, but our time is flying by for me– even though there is SO MUCH reading.
This week our reading takes a big turn. We’ll fly through one of my favorite books, Esther, and then hit one of the ones that is always a challenge for me to read, Job, before landing in the Psalms.
Psalms, for me, is always a bit of a challenge to read in this format. There is just SO MUCH there. My suggestion is to do your very best to break up your Psalms reading into several pieces throughout those days. I sometimes feel like it is similar to a very rich chocolate cake: There is so much to take in that it can be a bit overwhelming. If you can budget your time to take it slowly, you’ll savor each reading so much more.
Can you believe how far we are?!!!
I’m thrilled you are reading with me. Keep it up, no matter where you are and soak HIM in!!

To prevent you from doing research where you have questions and take away from your precious reading time, Bible in 90 Days founder Ted Cooper wrote this resource to give you a bit of perspective as to what you will encounter in this week’s reading. If you have other questions, try not to research them, but just ask God to explain when the time is right and keep reading. If you must, keep a journal of all your questions to refer to once you have completed the 90 days of reading.
This week’s reading schedule:
- Day 36 – Nehemiah 13:15 – Job 7:21
- Day 37 – Job 8:1 – 24:25
- Day 38 – Job 25:1 – 41:34
- Day 39 – Job 42:1 – Psalms 24:10
- Day 40 – Psalms 25:1 – 45:14
- Day 41 – Psalms 45:15 – 69:21
- Day 42 – Psalms 69:22 – 89:13
Each day’s assignment will also be posted on MomsToolbox each day as well as as on Facebook & Twitter.
You can also download the Bible in 90 Days reading schedule or, if you are using the official Bible in 90 Days Bible, you already have it marked in your Bible.
Make it a point to read every day no matter what, even if you don’t have a block of time, read something. Carry your Bible with you everywhere throughout the day until you get your reading finished. Plan on it taking about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes per day.
Thanks so much for reading with me. Your reading encourages my reading… and the hundreds others, too, no doubt!
Soooo, ready to check in?
