Welcome to the Week 7 check in post for the Bible in 90 Days with MomsToolbox!
Today is our 43rd day of reading, and our 7th weekly check in.
Can you believe that we are nearly half-way through our challenge? Isn’t that exciting?!
If you are on track and in the Psalms with us, my best advice is to break down each day’s reading time into a few sessions each day… Otherwise the reading can be too rich, in my opinion.
Actually, breaking the reading up into a few shorter sessions each day can be a huge help in any part of the Bible! What you are doing here with us is a massive challenge, which cube overwhelming at times. Some days, reading a bunch of tiny sessions rather than one long one can be a HUGE help.
This week’s resources
You haven’t forgotten about your mentor, have you? Your mentor can be a great resource for encouragement and tips in getting your reading completed. Each mentor has committed to pray for her readers, as well as all involved in our session. If you haven’t dropped her a note lately, please send her a hello today, after you check in hete, and let her know how you are doing.
Then, download the following four sections of You Are Here in the Bible:
To prevent you from doing research where you have questions and take away from your precious reading time, Bible in 90 Days founder Ted Cooper wrote this resource to give you a bit of perspective as to what you will encounter in this week’s reading. If you have other questions, try not to research them, but just ask God to explain when the time is right and keep reading. If you must, keep a journal of all your questions to refer to once you have completed the 90 days of reading.
This week’s reading schedule:
- Day 43 – Psalm 89:14 – Psalm 108:13
- Day 44 – Psalm 109:1 – Psalm 134:3
- Day 45 – Psalm 135:1 – Proverbs 6:35
- Day 46 – Proverbs 7:1 – Proverbs 20:21
- Day 47 – Proverbs 20:22 – Ecclesiastes 2:26
- Day 48 – Ecclesiastes 3:1 – Song of Songs 8:14
- Day 49 – Isaiah 1:1 – Isaiah 13:22
Each day’s assignment will also be posted on MomsToolbox each day as well as as on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
You can also download the Bible in 90 Days reading schedule or, if you are using the official Bible in 90 Days Bible, you already have it marked in your Bible.
Make it a point to read every day no matter what, even if you don’t have a block of time, read something. Carry your Bible with you everywhere throughout the day until you get your reading finished. Plan on it taking about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes per day.
Thanks so much for reading with me. Your reading encourages my reading… and the hundreds others, too, no doubt!
Soooo, ready to check in?
Leave a comment below this post and let us know how it’s going. I’m so proud of you for sticking with this challenge, no matter where you are in the reading. You CAN do this!!!
