Easy, Delicious Oatmeal

I am in love with Oat Revolution’s oatmeal packets for so may reasons… taste, convenience, low Weight Watcher Points Plus value while still filling me up…

And no, the company that makes them didn’t compensate me in any way to say that. (But if they’d like to, I might be game!!)

For years I was a staunch supporter of Quaker oats and making oatmeal from the big box of oats, not from the packets, as the flavor was always better that way.

I love the way oatmeal fills me up without wasting a bunch of WeightWatcher Points Plus values and I love how easy, peasy it is to make.

Oat Revolution revolutionized that for me this year, making it even easier with their super-cool packaging.

All I do is open the packet, pour it into my bowl:

then add water right into the packet and pour that into my bowl… Yes, with this super cool packaging, you use it to measure the water for your oatmeal!

I zap it in the microwave for 90 seconds and voila! I have creamy, delicious oatmeal (And I can be pretty picky about oatmeal flavor!!!)

Could it get any easier?? Tell me what you think about this… have you ever tried Oat Revolution? Or do you have any oatmeal tricks?

Just found these and hubby really likes them – found them on sale 10/$10 a few weeks ago and stocked up – I’m not an oatmeal fan but it was pretty darn good! We found that a little extra water made all the difference in the texture…

it is cheaper to buy a large box of oatmeal and cook it yourself, that instant stuff is too high in price with less volume, it may be fine if you are single but not with a husband and 4 kids, I but the store brand, and just add spices of my choice, the kids like brown sugar in theirs, my husband like raisain, I like banana

  3. Liked them at first but I’m with Missy, too gummy and finely cut. I only buy the blueberry muffin variety now.

  4. I bought Oat Revolution for awhile, my favorite was the Chai Spiced one. However, I began to miss Quaker old fashioned oats for the texture. Oat Revolution, to me, was gummy and cut too fine, but I realize it has to be cut fine for it to cook quickly. I’ve gone back to cooking old fashioned oats on the stove top because we love the texture and I can customize it any way my family prefers! Cinnamon and vanilla with raisins and blueberries are our favorite. :)

I have never heard of these. I shall Google the name to see if they are available near me.
