Good morning, friends. (I’m not sure exactly when this will really be posted, but it is morning time as I am writing it.) Thanks for joining me in this journey through faith.
I hope that this blog becomes much more than just a chronicle of my thoughts and experiences and instead is a forum of your experiences so we can grow together. And, just like they say in elementary school: There are no dumb questions. I may not know answers, but I will pray for all of us in hearing God’s answers. So, please, feel free to comment on whatever you would like. And feel free to respond to the comments as well. Just please do your best in keeping your comments honoring to the Lord: no insults or hurtful comments allowed. And no gossip.
Hopefully that will be it for the ‘rules,’ but if more need to be mentioned I will share them.
Now, on with what I heard this morning: It was such a fantastic affirmation for writing this!
Scripture: Hebrews 3:13
“But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sins deceitfulness.”
Observation: God wants us to band together to share our experiences and joy in Christ. To encourage is to build courage, so sharing good and bad will help to build courage and keep us strong.
Application: I need to share my faith (no, wait, I am commanded to share my faith) and experiences more to build a community and/or participate more fully in one. This will keep me close to God and my heart as He wants it.
Prayer: Dear Lord, Reading this today causes me to believe that my new blog focus is your intention. If that is so, please guide me and those who read it. Guide them in responding and help us to build a cyber community of believers together. Help us to be honest and truly encourage each other. Thank you for putting this will in my heart. Please let my words be true and honoring to you.

So that’s it. Guess we’re in this together! And how exciting that we should encourage one another daily! And how intimidating, too.
Daily? Can I do this daily? Well, He knows I can. But typing that is so final. Like now I really have to do it or have some really big excuse for not. So I will not say that I will do my best. Instead I will say that I will do it.
I may not post daily, but I will write daily and post when I can, depending on internet access. But I will write daily and pray for us daily and post when I have access. Gulp. Guess I’m going to have to begin setting my alarm and really getting up before the kids and keep it up this time. How many times have I said I was going to do that and then tried for a bit before I fizzled? But now I’m really being held accountable! It’s been fantastic on vacation, but it will be a challenge when at home. But I will do it.
Would you say a little prayer for me on this one? Or maybe a big prayer. :) Thanks! And I’ll be praying for you, too.
