A prayer for the fullness of God: Ephesians 3:17-19

Good morning to you and Happy New Year’s Eve!

Today’s reading continues on from yesterday’s passage and prayer in Ephesians. I felt the two needed to be separated, as each part has so much depth and hope and beauty.

This one builds on yesterday so beautifully and explains that strength.

“…to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

That’s some pretty powerful stuff.

That’s a perspective changer. I’m learning that shifting perspective can make a big difference in lots of places. When we see things differently, our challenges change, too.

I want to be filled with His strength and His fullness. I want that for my husband, my children and, quite honestly, all of us everywhere. I want us all to strive good and peace and love. All of these things come from Him.

I hope you are enjoying this journey through the Ephesians with me. I deviated a bit from Candace’s plan, so, whichever plan you are using, I hope you are hearing Him and praying His Word alongside us.

And I pray that you being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Amen.
