Wine 4.Me is finally ready for YOU!
After years in development, I’m thrilled to announce that launch day for Wine4.Me, the wine app I’ve been developing to empower casual wine drinkers and help people find new wines they are sure to love in a total intimidation-free zone is HERE!
Yes, you can click right on over to the App Store from your iPhone, iPad or iPod, download it for free, and begin finding new wines you’re sure to love. Really. And it is super easy to use– no wine knowledge needed. I promise.
Wow! I can’t believe the day is finally here!
So why did I design a wine app for casual drinkers?
I started work on Wine4.Me after a trip to Napa which left me frustrated and wanting to find a better, easier way to find wines I would like without wasting wine and time on wines I wouldn’t like.
This sent me on quite a journey as I learned more about wine, met amazing people in the wine industry and worked to be sure the app would be impartial, truly finding the best wines for each individual user. I also learned more about trusting God in the process… and felt his presence as he put person after person in my path to guide me. (It’s amazing how many ‘coincidental’ meetings and circumstances have found their way into this.)
In building the app and the app’s team, I not only learned a lot about wine, but I’m also learning about being an entrepreneur and the CEO of a tech startup. A few years ago I never would have guessed that this is what God had in store for me. But, then again, I never expected to guide so many through the Bible in 90 Days, either!
But, back to the app…
Wine4.Me uses sensory science, personal preference and a pretty cool algorithm, but don’t let all that science talk intimidate you— it’ll be a snap for you to use, even if you know nothing about wine. I left all the confusing stuff to our wine experts, statisticians and scientists.
To use it, you just tell us what grapes, wineries, countries or regions you know you like in wine. (Do you know if you like Moscato? Pinot Noir? Cabernet? French Wines? Chilean Wines?)– you can tell us as little or as much as you want. Then we take all that info and rank all the wines in our database of widely-distributed, easy-to-find wines, in order of preference for you. You can then sort by color, grape, region, country or what you’ll be eating for dinner, if you like, or just try the top wines on your list and enjoy.
It’s really pretty cool and like I said, pretty easy to use.
If you’re up for finding new wines you’re sure to love without all the fuss, please click over to Wine4.Me on the App Store on your iPhone, iPod or iPad and download it now. Tell it what you like and try the new wines it suggests. Then rank those so it can get even better at ranking wines for you, personally.
Of course I’d love for you to tell your friends about the the app, too and tell me what you think so I can make it even better with your input.
Thanks, everyone, for hanging in with me here on MomsToolbox as I had to shift my focus to VineSleuth and Wine4.Me. I tremendously appreciate your support through the years. Like I said, it’s been quite an adventure… and I think it might just be beginning!!
