Check out one-of-a-kind gingerbread edible doghouses at a cocktail party to benefit Lucky Dog Rescue at the Royal Sonesta Hotel Houston, Tuesday, December 4, from 6 – 8 pm.
The gingerbread houses will be judged on creativity and overall appeal by such Houston foodies as Susan Molzan of Petite Sweets, Kevin Bryant of L’Olivier, Monica Glenn of Uchi, Neal Cox of The Houstonian, Johnny Wesley of Killen’s Steakhouse, Matthew Zoch of Prego, Samantha Mendoza of Triniti, Richard Esquivel of BraeBurn Country Club and David Coffman of Katsuya, and then auctioned off to benefit Lucky Dog Rescue.
Aside from enjoying the gingerbread dog houses, guests will enjoy a sampling of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Royal Sonesta Hotel Houston.
A $25 per adult suggested donation is asked to attend. Children are welcome to attend this fundraiser free of charge.
In addition to revenues raised through donations, the doghouse auction and a giving tree will support key local efforts. Donations can be made in advance at https://luckydogrescue.ticketbud.com/gingerbread.
