Holy shipwreck, it’s Day 23 of the New Testament in 40 Days!

Howdy! It’s Day 23 of the New Testament in 40 Days, y’all!

Our reading today is Acts 25- Romans 2.

Today we wrap up Luke’s telling of the journey to Rome and get to hear from Paul in his words.

Spoiler alert: Can you imagine being on a ship when all things are going WAY wrong and getting a message from an angel to share with the group that the whole boat will be destroyed but all the people will be okay?

And being a prisoner on that boat? Then swimming to shore when all of that happens and then hanging out, healing people and talking about Jesus? Then moving on to Rome?

This guy was 100% IN! Wow.

What a guy! Seriously. There is a lot here. So much to think about.

I hope you’re soaking it all in and loving it as much as I am.

This is some solid stuff. No, we may not be locked up in prisons and being carted about on boats, but I bet we can find some applications here somewhere… or at least be moved and amazed.

I’m so glad you are reading with me. I pray you are moved a little or a lot each day.

In love,
