Case of the Mondays at Brennan’s
Event: Head to Brennan’s for its monthly “Case of the Mondays” Wine Tasting Class. Each class is limited to 20 participants. Together, the class will taste through an entire case of wine.

October Wine and Sausage Trail Weekends on The Bluebonnet Wine Trail
Event: October is Texas Wine Month! Celebrate Texas wine on the October Wine and Sausage Trail, on October 4-6 and 11-12, 2014 along the Bluebonnet Trail. Located just one hour northwest of Houston, the Bluebonnet Wine Trail is home to seven wineries. Your October Wine and Sausage Trail ticket is valid for all for dates and includes two select wine tastings, paired with a unique sausage dish at each winery.

Houston Wine Classes
If you live in the Houston area and want to learn more about wine, check out these classes in October from The Texas Wine School. It’s a fun, laid-back atmosphere where you can learn about wine from introductory to certification level. We’ve listed the wine tasting and introductory classes below. Event: This enjoyable wine tasting class gives you a chance to smell classic fruits, spices and flowers of the “classic” red varieties in a neutral base wine. Then, the class will try to see if they can “find” these same characteristics in an actual bottle of that particular grape variety.
