I was just thinking about meeting up with old school friends and became a little sad about the fact that we’ll never all be together again, just us. And then the thought entered my mind that I’d see many of them again in Heaven.
But then a not so nice thought popped in– I’d see others, too, so how could I just see the people I want to see and not those that maybe I didn’t enjoy quite as much, without hurting anyone’s feelings?
And then a much better thought popped into my head and made me tingle and feel warm all over.
Want to know what it was?
I thought about the fact that in Heaven, maybe I’ll see everyone the way that our Father does– Anything I might have seen as negative will be completely washed over by seeing each person as a child of God and all those gorgeous characteristics that come with that. And those who maybe didn’t like me so much will see me that way, too.
How cool is that?!
Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could look past the negative and see only that now, too?
