If you are reading with me, today we are on Proverbs 30. (Remembering what to read in the Proverbs is as easy as remembering the day’s date when you read them with me.) That being said:
Today’s Reading: Proverbs 30
Using the SOAP devotional method, here’s what I heard this time…
Scripture: Proverbs 30:5
Every word of God proves true;
He is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
Observation:
He speaks truth. Seek Him for strength.
Application:
When I’m weary, and before I Am weary, I need to turn to His Word and to prayer for direction, comfort and strength.
Prayer:
Father, thank you so much for meeting me every single day of this month and sharing your wisdom. Thank you for your unshakeable truth. Please guide me in continuing to hear you and seek you. I want to take refuge in truth. I love you, God.
Show me what path to take next in seeking you and hearing you. Help me to always hear you and seek you first.
Thank you for true peace. Guide me as I seek it and gain it from You.
Thank you.
In your son’s name I pray,
Amen
