This morning I had a hard time grabbing just one verse that stood out to me. Each verse that jumped out really needed the support of the others around it for me today and the entire passage had a beautiful message.
Here’s what I heard in Psalm 24:
Scripture:
Psalm 23:5 makes me smile:
The will receive blessing from the Lord
and vindication from God, their Savior.
But you really should read it all. Click over to Bible Gateway and read all of Psalm 24, if you can.
Observation:
He holds the key to blessing on earth. He will bless those who honestly follow Him.
Application:
Because I follow Jesus, even though I am not pure in heart on my own, He washes me clean. That, added to an honest pursuit of the Lord on my part, opens the doors for blessings to storm into my life. I see that so often and I am truly thankful for the blessings I get to experience every single day. He amazes me. And I am thankful.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for your love and guidance and the uncountable blessings which you share with me daily. I love you and am enjoying the pursuit of time with you daily. I love seeing you everywhere. Thank you for your blessings. Thank you for making me smile. Thank you for comforting me when I need it.
Please help all who pursue you see you and be washed in blessings as you say here.
