I’m heading home today after a big week in California. My husband came out to spend a little R&R time with me at the end and it has been fantastic. I’m eager to get back to our kids, though.
I hope you are having a nice weekend.
Here is what I heard in Psalm 27 using SOAP:
Scripture: Psalm 27: 1
The Lord is my light and salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?
Observation:
He makes me strong. I will not fear.
Application:
He really is my light and salvation, giving me strength as I need it and guiding me always (or as I listen.)
He has led me to great adventures and has pulled me through hard times. I trust Him. I will continue to trust HIm.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for your guidance and for your strength. I am so thankful to have you on my side. You have pulled me through hard times and will pull me through more ahead as I need you, I have no doubt. Thank you so much for that.
You certainly are the stronghold in my life my light and my salvation. With you, I will not fear.
Thank you, Lord.
