Good morning to you.
Yesterday was one of those days thatI felt like I just kept getting hit with frustration at almost every turn. It was not easy.
Today’s verse is one I will be repeating to myself over and over if today turns out like yesterday.
Here is what grabbed me in Psalm 50:
Scripture: Psalm 50:15
and call upon me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.
Observation:
When things get tough, call on Him and He will help and then share that with others
Application:
Things get sticky and frustrating. In those times, I need to call out to Him to show me my path and more than just calling out, I need to pause, catch my breath and also give Him a chance to be heard. I need to listen to Him so I can order my steps and proceed best. He will help. And I will want to sing his praises for pulling me out of the frustration and day of trouble.
Prayer:
Lord, I need you always.
Please hear my cries, and when I do cry out, please guide me in remembering to slow down and hear your words back to me.
I love you and I am yours and you will deliver me and I will glorify you. For that to happen, I must call out to you and also listen to you.
Thank you, God, for this promise that you will deliver me. That is so very reassuring. I have seen it happen, but I needed this reminder.
Amen.
