Good morning!
Yesterday was an amazing, fantastic, exciting day.
The presentation I told you about was a total blast and I was energized by the number of people who talked with me throughout the day about what I shared on stage. I didn’t want the day to end! Representatives of a potential client reached out to me just after the presentation and I had the opportunity to talk with them about collaborating just a few hours later. The opportunity was absolutely fantastic. And it all ties in so beautifully to today’s SOAP.
This is what grabbed me in Psalm 54 by using SOAP:
Scripture: Psalm 54
Behold, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life.
Observation:
He truly is my helper, guiding me where I need it, always.
Application:
I certainly lean on Him and call out to Him in everything in my life.
Yesterday, as I was walking to the arena where I was to speak, I was blinking back tears of joy as I watched thousands of people fold into the hallway to fill the seats. It was so hard to believe that all of those people were going to hear me tell my story. I giggled a bit, kept walking and thanked Him for the opportunity.
Before I went on stage, I paused in all the excitement and prayed, thanking Him for the opportunity and asking Him to guide my words and actions. He got me there. I had confidence that He would see me through the performance, too. And He did. I barely remember any words coming out of my mouth, but I know they did. He was my helper. And he can be your helper, too.
He’s got a lot of power and He is there to guide you and me. If you haven’t already, recognize his power, lean on Him, and let Him be your helper. He has your true good in mind. He will guide you.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you so much for being my helper and upholding me. You are amazing and are faithful and I am truly grateful for the countless gifts you have given me. Thank you for guiding me through my presentation yesterday. Thank you for letting it fall on people who were interested in what I had to say. Please continue to guide me in sharing my story and in next steps.
Please, Lord, also continue guiding my family life. I need you there, as everywhere. Help us to see You and follow you and the path you have set out for us, in the best ways. I love you, Lord. Thank you for your guidance and love. You are amazing.
