Psalm 82: Please rescue the weak and needy, Lord. And that is ALL of us!

Just jumping right in with SOAP from Psalm 82 today…

Scripture: Psalm 82: 4

Rescue the weak and needy;

deliver them from the hand of the wicked.

Observation:

I don’t think this one even needs to be restated. It’s so very applicable now as it was when written.

Application:

This is a prayer to be prayed and pondered, that is for sure.

Prayer:

Father God, we, as a nation, are hurting. We, as a world, are hurting. We need you. I don’t want to wait. I hate to see so much pain and I hate to see people doubting you. Show your power, your might, your strength, your justice. The battle is yours, I know this.

Please, Lord, rescue the weak and needy, and that is all of us. Please deliver us from the hand of the wicked. Show us our steps.

Guide us in following you. Destroy evil. We need you. I trust you. Please, Lord, show your strength and end the evil.

Thank you, Lord.
