Psalm 86: Glorifying His name

Good morning.

I’ve been sitting in Psalm 86 since yesterday, reading and re-reading. The whole thing talks about God’s power and strength and how much the Psalmist appreciates both. I felt this one summed it up best:

Scripture: Psalm 86: 12

I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart,

and I will glorify your name forever.

Observation:

In all things I will give thanks.

Application:

Same thing: In all things I will give thanks.

God’s power is strong. He is always with us, if we ask.

I am often amazed when I see His provision. It is always there, even in the rough times.

Prayer:

Thank you, Lord, for listening to  my shouts of joy and my cries of pain. Thank you for showing me the way and reminding me to slow down and listen.

I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart. I will glorify your name forever, as you are merciful and true.

Show me the paths you want me to follow, Lord. Show me how and where to tell your story. Guide me in glorifying you in the ways that are best.

Thank you for your provision.
