Welcome to the first weekly edition of MomsToolbox Readers Recommend, where MomsToolbox readers share one favorite post from the blogosphere.

There are so many fantastic posts out there and I am hoping this will help me to find even more of them with your help.

To participate, all you need to do is give us a one-sentence description of why you are recommending a specific post and then leave a direct link to that post in the comments.

A few guidelines:

  • The purpose of the post may not be a sales pitch.

    Here’s a practical blog post about how to defrost and organize your freezer. The best part was learning that the front of the freezer door is a giant whiteboard and you can use dry erase markers for recording inventory! Who knew?!? FABULOUS!!!

    I love how practical Mama Laundry is. Loved this recent post about how to get chewing gum out of fabric. She’s such a great resource for any laundry questions people might have, and I find that I have plenty!

    I recommend this post, called “”How to take a shower. Come back when you can read a long post, or honestly, just skip” at Like Mother, Like Daughter because, if you are someone who is “idealistic, romantic, very well read” with young kids or not, and no routine, you will realize you are NOT THE ONLY ONE who sometimes forgets or doesn’t get around to taking a shower and you will get some gentle advice from someone like you who learned how to cope and was willing to write about it.
