Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

I had the opportunity to taste a LOT of wines and meet some fantastic winemakers, winery representatives and wine bloggers at the Wine Bloggers Conference last month.

One of my favorite wines of the conference was the Alexander Crown by Rodney Strong Vineyards.

It was a delicious single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon.

I had the opportunity to visit with Robert who shared a little about three of Rodney Strong’s single vineyard Cabernets in the following video:

The wines that Robert shared are a bit on the pricey side at about $75 a bottle, but they are all outstanding.

Rodney Strong also offers more affordable wines. Today I picked up a different one of their Cabernet Sauvignon selections at Target for just $11.99. (I think this was my favorite purchase during back-to-school shopping there.)

I’ll try to get my husband to throw a steak on the grill in the next few days and let you know how the wine measures up.
