Happy Tuesday! Today, even though it is Tuesday, seems to have the promise of a new week to me. What about you?
Todays’ reading is Numbers 8-9, Acts 28
Scripture:
Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out.
Numbers 9: 22
Observation:
No matter how long that cloud stayed, the Israelites had the discipline to look, listen and follow. Wow. To be so in tune with His leading would be amazing!
Application:
I’d love to be confident that I am following Him. Most of the time I feel like I am on track, but with so many bumps and bruises and seeming roadblocks along the way, I admit I question if I am following Him, or what I want Him to say. Oh, to be so certain!
Regular reading, praying, asking, and listening are in order. And now after so many SOAP sessions lately pointing to this, I believe pausing, refreshing and listening again need to be added to that list.
Prayer:
Father God, help me to really hear you. I want to follow you, I know you have the best path in mind for me. Help me to see it, Help me to follow you with diligence and patience, waiting or sprinting at your command. I want to do your will. Please, oh please, help me to hear you more clearly.
Amen
