Scripture:
I can do all things through Christ
who gives me strength.
Philippians 4:13
Observation:
He will give you the strength you need to get done what you need to do.
Application:
- Go to Him.
- Ask for guidance.
- Follow it.
- ROCK your (sometimes revised) goals.
This, of course, is my interpretation and my experience. I find that when I go to Him and talk about what I think I need to do or want to do, He guides me and I end up doing much, much better than when I go all rogue.
Does that mean I’m making millions, that my family acts and looks like the most beautiful Christmas card and I am achieving every initial goal on my timeline?
No.
What it does mean is that when I truly go to Him and listen, awesome stuff happens. My path is often altered, but I have no doubt it is turning out much better in the long run than it ever would have without Him.
He IS my strength.
Prayer:
Father God,
Thank you for listening to me and for guiding me. Thank you for being my strength. Please, Father, continue close to me. I need you. I really can do all things through your son, Jesus Christ, who gives me strength. You set me on my path. You give me what I need to go. Thank you.
