SOAP: Integrity, Honesty and Hope

Scripture:

May integrity and honesty protect me,

For I put my hope in you.

–Psalm 25:21

Observation:

I trust in the Lord and he instructs me to act with integrity and be honest. I believe that is right.

Application:

God instructs us to live appropriately: to care for others, to do treat others the way we would like to be treated, to be honest.

If I am going to have faith in what He teaches, I most certainly need to work to act the way He teaches, as well.

Integrity and honesty are critical. Always.

Prayer:

Lord,

Thank you for this reminder to always act with integrity and honesty, to not cut corners or be afraid to tell the truth.

Please guide me as I live this way personally and professionally, as it is truly the best way to live.

The truth hurts sometimes. But in truth there should be no fear, nothing to hide behind. I want to live in truth and work in truth.. and work with others who work in integrity.

Please, Lord, surround me by teammates, partners and clients who consistently act with integrity. Bring mentors into my life who act with honesty and integrity and guide me as I build and grow daily. And, Lord, if I can mentor those following me, please show me whom, how and where. I am yours.
